Ashley Scott was a teacher, mentor and coach at Bolton High School (BHS). Off campus she was a victim of domestic abuse which lead to her death at the age of 28. BHS hosts this Annual 5K in Honor of the many hearts she touched, raising on average $10,000 a year for survivors and victims of domestic violence. I created this logotype with her nickname Ash and the character “s” as a flame of remembrance. Pun intended. I was told she would of liked it. This was a simple design project from 2012 but I have decided to have it remain published to keep the flame alive, and because it feels real weird every time I go to take it down. I need someone to give me validation that it ok to take it down. Should I? Let me know.
